Stop Being a Simp for Elon Musk
May 13, 2021 11:00 pm Leave your thoughts
I’ve never been the type of guy to idolize famous people. For the most part I don’t even remember half of their names. I simply don’t care. I understand the reality that they don’t know me, thus they don’t care about me. Nor should they. They don’t care about my well being or best interests. This works both ways. So why on earth would I idolize any person and do any and everything they say?
In the current day, normie internet culture is a place of rampant idolization, blind following and outright worship of “influencers” and stars. To me it’s nauseating and proof positive that most humans refuse to think for themselves. Famous aristocrats constantly tell these people what is “cool”, what to think, who to vote for. Now a days they are even making medical decisions for them, and they listen without question or hesitation, every time.
The thing that makes it worse is the fact that people like Elon Musk blatantly say and do things to manipulate markets and influence others to do things in many cases directly against their best interests and these fanboys and fangirls will still defend them, in many cases to the death.
No matter how much double speak, hypocrisy or even harm they may cause. None of it matters. It’s as if they have joined a cult.
This sentiment has worked its way into the crypto world. Like many areas of internet culture, there are people of influence. Elon being one of them. The reason why is because we are all passionate about crypto and anyone who agrees with us is a positive, even more so of they are famous and can spread the word to their followers, I get it.
The issue here though is that, although these people may lead their followers to pump your bags and make you money, we have to be mindful of these people and the influence they have. The fact that they agree with you leaves you open to joining the cult and now becoming another worshiper of them.
Really, do your self a favour and ask yourself. Does Elon care about your bags? If he’s busy building rockets does he have time to care about the success of Doge? Does he care about the core fundamentals of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency in general and giving the little guy a place to invest on his own terms? Does he care if he manipulates the market and you, one of his followers/worshipers buys the top, looses all your money and can no longer pay your bills? Is he going to be there to help you when this happens? These famous people are already filthy rich and could give a shit less about you. Realize that and act accordingly.
When it comes to Elon he has a clear track record of manipulating markets.

This tweet led to him being scrutinized by the SEC and fined.

The thing is that the crypto market is a place where the SEC has no power. It operates outside the reach of the SEC so long that it’s not a coin that is a security. In other words, crypto is the wild west. So if someone manipulates the market, they will have no repercussion for it. Personally I have no issue with this, in fact its why I am here. Because it is a free, open and unregulated market. But what that comes the responsibility to all of us within the market to think for ourselves and not be a hive mind. This means not following people like Elon Musk blindly and having the ability to think for yourself. With that said. Because Elon would face fines manipulating traditional markets. He has clearly moved his attention to the crypto markets. Specifically, Doge and Bitcoin.
Tweets like these 2 examples among many, have moved the price of doge. People in the crypto markets need to always remember that these people who are not in the crypto markets and sort of loosely seem to dabble in it here and there, the more you give them power to move the market is the more they will and this goes both ways. On many occasions we have seen Elon flip flop. One minute he is driving prices up, the next he’s saying something to plummet the price down like he did on SNL as he called doge a “hustle”. So which is it? The people’s crypto? Or a hustle? I’m calling BS that every time he flip flops he claims to be joking, *teehee*.

In more recent events he does this with Bitcoin, effectively plummeting the entire market with the news, funny how he releases this tweet as Bitcoin is testing a heavy resistance on the M1/BTCUSD chart. I’ll chalk it up to a coincidence.
If you are unfamiliar with the M1/BTCUSD chart I discussed it here.

Again, normies, noobs and people in general need to stop listening to these people and need to stop idolizing these people, Find a hobby. Hanging off every word these people say is going to get you rekt and when you are, they wont care. (by the way, another reason to be careful on leverage.)
The thing is, there is no way that Elon just learned how mining works AFTER buying 5 Billion dollars worth of the stuff. There is also no way he does not know that many mining farms are green, using wind and solar power. I don’t believe he is a crypto expert (more on that later) but there is no way you buy 5 BILLION dollars worth of something with out knowing what you are getting yourself into as far as Bitcoin specifically goes.
There is also no way you could be championing Doge with is PoW just as Bitcoin is. So he is obviously working an angle here (I wouldn’t be surprised if he releases his own crypto). He’s constantly full of hypocrisy and the market is like a herd of cattle running back and forth constantly on his tweets. Stop listening, stop paying attention, unsubscribe. These people do not care about your best interests.
Like I stated earlier. Chances are, Elon is not researching new projects, considering the political, societal, legal and game theory ramifications of new projects and technologies emerging here in this space. Again if he is in fact working on rockets (which are far worse on the environment and makes him even more of a hypocrite) green cars which I already discussed here (which are also horrible for the environment and currently employ countless child and slave labourers in the mining process of raw materials that go into batteries. Again making his latest tweet even more hypocritical) where would he find the time to be doing enough research to know what the hell he is talking about when it comes to crypto?
At this point, the logical process of deduction should be letting you know what people you should be listening to about crypto and the ones you should not be.
One more point. I’m sick of this tired old argument that mining bitcoin is going to destroy the world. These green SJW hippies screaming this crap obviously failed math class and have no form of logic in their head what so ever.
What is one of the things cryptocurrency aim to make obsolete? Banks.
How much energy do those things burn every year, tally it all up. The buildings, the energy those buildings burn. Heat, AC, the gas used in travel including all employees, trips, jets, boats and so on. The energy used for ATMs. On and on and on. Bitcoin consumes way less power than banks and that is only ONE aspect. What about legal systems? courts? Parts of the legal system that could be automated via smart contracts and the useless jobs that waste billions of tax dollars every year? I could rant on but it would need its own post.
Stop believing and stop listening to these people. Stop believing the hype. It’s all a load of crap.
Unsubscribe.
